I was able to buy tickets easily avoiding the line, too bad that for minor children, although free admission, the ticket cannot be done in advance but only at the ticket office. I recommend going early in the morning to both the museum visit and Napoleon's Tomb ( 10 o'clock, at opening because then a lot of people come ).

The museum is beautiful. The garden is a spectacle in itself. It was the first museum I went to in Paris, a delight to spend the day in. Take your time, the museum isn't big but it's worth spending time sitting in the garden enjoying the view. I was surprised. Everything worked out with the ticket and it also avoided the queues.

We got there early, and were able to see the exhibitions at ease. It is a museum housed in an incredible mansion, with great statues by Rodin throughout, including the Gates of Hell, with the thinker at the top

Fabulous museum with a lot of military history including French military history during the two world wars. The building was worth seeing as well as Napoleon's tomb. Buying tickets from Headout allowed us to skip the very long line of people wanting to buy entrance tickets.

The museum is extraordinary, very well decorated with interactive videos that tell real stories. You should take the time to go through it in detail as it takes a while to do so. Then you enter the crypt where the remains of Napoleon Bonaparte rest. Everything is magnificent to visit. It is well worth it.
