We booked the guided English tour to Auschwitz-Birkenau through Headout and had a really good experience overall. Our pickup time was changed from 9:00 AM to 5:30 AM, which was very early, but we had already seen in other reviews that this can happen. We were also informed by email the day before, so it wasn’t a surprise. The meeting point was well organized – several buses were lined up with tour numbers, and staff called out names, so everything went smoothly. We received our tickets right after arriving, the transport was comfortable, and the whole tour was well arranged. We were back in Krakow around 12:30 PM. Overall, the price matched the service, and everything was handled professionally. Definitely recommend!

The Auschwitz-Birkenau tour with Headout was exceptional to say the least. The bus was perfectly on time and well organised in picking everyone up. The driver was lovely and conveyed instructions very clearly. Our tour guide Eva was wonderful, showing a deep respect for the cemetery that Auschwitz is and sharing detailed information in a way that imparted the same sense of reflection in all of us. Walking through the two camps, knowing that so many who walked in the same gates never walked out again, was a surreal and haunting experience that brought history to life in a sickening new way. It was an emotionally challenging visit but undoubtedly important and I'm so glad I did this tour with Headout.

I highly recommend wearing comfortable shoes because there is a lot of walking, especially in Birkenau. The logistics were flawless, allowing us to focus entirely on the importance of the site. A powerful experience that everyone should have at least once.

We had a great experience with the Auschwitz-Birkenau Guided Tour with transfers. The transportation was smooth and very well organized, making the entire trip stress-free from start to finish. Our guide was truly outstanding—very passionate about his work and incredibly knowledgeable. He shared a lot of insightful and meaningful information about both Auschwitz and Birkenau, which made the visit even more impactful and memorable. The tour of Auschwitz itself was very well done, informative and powerful. The organisation for travel and entrance, not so much. Our booking time was changed from 9am to 5:30am and instructions were unclear on arrival which resulted in a few frustrated group members. It would be helpful if they just made little bits more clear on their booking website e.g. which line you get to skip, stick to booking times (even if this means taking away the 9am option). Overall, a good experience worth doing but could be improved by clearing up the organisation.
