Really useful card - enabled us to jump some of the queues and get the most from our trip to Verona. Only issue is that you have to pay for a bus from the station to collect your card near the Arena - the card allows travel on the buses so it's a shame you have the additional expense of collecting the card. You could avoid this by walking for 40 mins. Saying that every one was really helpful and the staff at the collection point were really knowledgeable and had some great tips.

The card was easy to pick, the entry to Juliet's house was fast and exactly on time. The house is nice, and you can make good pictures with the statue and from the balcony, despite the crowds 😎. We couldn't visit the Arena 🙁. Free city transport is a nice bonus.

A fantastic convenience—it lets you explore Verona without waiting in queue and saves a lot of time, so you don't have to worry about buying tickets for individual attractions. You can also use public transport freely. Highly recommended!

The Verona Card made it very easy and quick to enter the arena. The card pickup location was right beside the arena. It was also great that visiting Juliet's balcony/house was included since it's no longer free to visit the courtyard with the statue.

Free entry to 15 attractions and reduced entry to 4 more keeps costs clear before you set off. Skip-the-line access at Verona Arena is included according to opening times and availability. Additional access to selected sites in Mantua and Trentino at free or reduced rates extends the card’s value beyond the city.

Exploring Verona made easier with public transport

Free use of Verona’s ATV urban buses is included, covering only city lines. You can hop on and off these regular public buses as you move between museums, churches, and monuments, without purchasing separate tickets. Extra-urban routes and the Aerobus service are not part of the card, so you only use standard urban lines when planning your journeys within Verona.

Seamless activation

The VeronaCard can be bought online or at sales points in the city, then used directly at participating museums, monuments, and ATV urban buses. Some attractions, such as Juliet’s House, require an advance online reservation even if you have the card, and a few others may have limited availability or ask for prior booking. Before using it, you simply check opening times and any reservation notes. The pass validity begins from its first use and then runs continuously for 24 or 48 hours, depending on your option. For example, if you first use a 24-hour card at 11:00 on Tuesday, it remains valid until 11:00 on Wednesday.

What’s not allowed

Aerobus: The Verona Card does not include the Aerobus airport transfer service.

Extra-urban transport: The card does not cover extra-urban public transport lines.

Additional information

Youth benefits: Civic museums offer free entry to visitors under 18 years old.

Arena access: The Verona Arena is open Tuesday to Sunday from 9am to 7pm, except on performance days.

Juliet's House access: Entry is via Teatro Nuovo in Piazzetta Navona for all visitors.

Juliet's House reservations: Although you can enter for free with the card, an online reservation is still mandatory.

Planning: Check opening hours for included sites and ATV urban buses before using your Verona Card.

Sales points: You can purchase the Verona Card online or at selected sales points in the city.
