    Chichén Itzá

    Recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, Chichén Itzá was once a thriving center of Mayan commerce, politics, and religion. This archaeological complex is renowned for its historical significance and well-preserved monuments.

    • El Castillo (Temple of Kukulcán): This is the site's iconic central pyramid, famous for its precise astronomical alignment and role in Mayan ceremonies.

    • Temple of the Warriors: Dedicated to the Mayan warriors, this temple features intricately carved stone columns that offer a glimpse into the civilization's military history.

    What’s not allowed

    • Large bags, suitcases, and oversized luggage are not allowed inside the archaeological site for security reasons.

    • Pets and service animals are not allowed on this experience.

    • Alcohol, drugs, and any form of intoxication are strictly prohibited on the premises.

    Accessibility

    • This experience is not wheelchair accessible.

    Additional information

    • The Chichén Itzá tax must be paid on-site via credit card. The tax is approximately $35 for adults and $5 for children. Mexican citizens with valid IDs receive a discount.

    • Mexican citizens, children, students, and teachers (residents of Mexico) will receive a discount upon presenting their official ID.

    • Tours are only available starting at 8:30am and 10:30am. Plan your visit accordingly.

    • Large groups will be split into smaller groups of up to 15 people for a better experience.

    • Your guide is bilingual and will speak in both Spanish & English during the tour.

    • Please arrive at the meeting point 15 mins before the scheduled time of your tour to avoid any delays.
