Chambord Castle and Amboise were great; smooth visit. An iPad is provided for the tours and included in the admission price. On the other hand, at Chenonceau, the iPad costs €5 even though admission to the castle is the most expensive of all! Plus, it's hard to get around when several groups of 30 people arrive at the same time! There should be specific time slots for groups for better organization. This place is as billed. special. The entry was easy. The parking free. The building and grounds well maintained. For flower lovers , the outside gardens were lovely but the flowers highlight were the original , highly artistic ,fresh arrangements , that dressed every room. They themselves were spectacular . The history of the chateau was also well laid out . Would highly recommend .

A chateau that spans the Cher from one bank to the other... This is the main feature of this chateau. Surrounded by very flowery gardens, you constantly want to press the shutter button to take just one more photo... The sky was blue, dotted with small white clouds that made the chateau stand out even more...

The Chateaux Chenoncaux is truly a very special look into an ancient time of French nobility. The ambience is so delightfully soothing and engaging. Hassle-free entry, but the castle's audio guide, which was very heavy and bulky, is terrible and completely useless. Otherwise, this castle is unique for its architecture and the elegance of its spectacular roof!!!
