Explore its crypt which houses the remains of prominent figures from Sardinian history.
Explore the Stampace District
Take a walk through the Stampace district, the oldest part of the city. See its most significant landmarks and get insights into the history and culture of this fascinating area. Visit the tunnel shelter of the Salesian School, now a private, mysterious gallery with red brick arcades. It was a shelter for students during World War II.
Next Up, Marina District
Your next stop is Santa Restituta in the Marina District. The crypt here is a stunning example of late-Roman and Byzantine architecture, built in memory of the Christian martyr Restituta.
