Our visit to Bioparc Valencia was one of the best experiences. My six-year-old was absolutely amazed from the very first moment – and honestly, so was I. What makes this zoo truly special is the way the animals are kept. There are no traditional cages – everything feels open and natural, as if you’re actually walking through Africa. The habitats are beautifully designed, and seeing giraffes, elephants, and lions in such an environment was simply unforgettable. The park is very clean, well-organized, and perfectly suited for families with children. Everything is easy to navigate, there are no long waits, and the staff are friendly and helpful. My son especially loved the educational aspect – he learned so much about animals through observation and play without even realizing it. Time just flew by. We spent almost the entire day there and never felt bored. This is not just a zoo, but a complete experience that combines fun, education, and nature. Highly recommended for anyone traveling with kids – Bioparc Valencia is an absolute must-visit! We will definitely come back again.

Everything was wonderful except for the dolphin show. I expected a much more attractive and active presentation, more show, more tricks and dolphin jumps, but in fact we listened to a 30-minute lecture about dolphins and only 3 minutes of tricks. Quite disappointing for children and adults. It was not appropriate for such a large and impressive aquarium.

The park is easily accessible by the red tourist bus. It gives visitors the impression that they are seeing the animals not in a zoo but in a natural setting. The enclosures flow into one another, so that you see giraffes, gazelles, and lions as if they were part of the same landscape. The enclosures are spacious and the animals have places to retreat—so you have to look a bit. You don’t see any fences at all. For the most part, you have a direct view into the enclosures, which is great for photos. Many trees provide pleasant shade throughout the park. There’s a restaurant right next to the large savanna enclosure—just like a lodge in Africa. We really enjoyed it and spent about 3 hours in the park.

An unforgettable experience at the Oceanogràfic in Valencia🐠✨ We had a wonderful day discovering the wonders of the marine world. The aquariums are impressive, the spaces are very well organized, and each universe transports us to another corner of the planet. A real moment of discovery, wonder, and sharing with the family. We were pleasantly surprised by how clean the park was and how well the animals were cared for. We watched the hippos swimming among the fish. It was a first for us! We also saw the baby rhino that was born in the park in November. It was a wonderful experience!

The Bioparc is overrated. Nice for the kids though but very busy and long queues for everything. I think the free nature park next door is much more relaxing. Nonetheless I see the appeal and popularity.

Bioparc Valencia

Traffic around Bioparc can be heavy in summer. Arriving early or late can help avoid peak-hour congestion.

An adult must accompany children under the age of 14 at all times.

Children under 4 years old can enter for free.

Entry is by time slot: you must enter at your chosen time and up to 1 hour 45 minutes after; once inside, you may stay until closing.

Car parking is available on-site for €7 per day (up to 10 hours); bike parking is free.

Bioparc is only 3.9 km from Valencia’s city center, with plenty of easy public transport options to get you there.

Mestalla Stadium

The tour starts at gate number 3 of the stadium. Get to the gate 10 minutes before your tour's start time.

Children must be 5 years or older for this tour. Children 14 and under must be accompanied by an adult.

The Mestalla Forever Tour of Valencia CF won't be available on match or training days.
