The best part of this trip was being able to enjoy Berlin at my own pace, without constantly stopping to plan or worry about logistics. The Berlin WelcomeCard played a big role in that. Having unlimited access to public transportation made moving around the city feel effortless, and the museum and attraction discounts were genuinely useful—not just a token perk. It encouraged me to visit places I might’ve skipped otherwise.
One clear highlight was spending time around the Brandenburg Gate at different hours of the day. It was lively and busy during the daytime, but later in the evening the atmosphere felt completely different and more calm. Since getting around was so easy, I didn’t feel stuck in crowded areas. When the crowds got heavy, especially around Museum Island, I could simply hop on public transport and explore a quieter neighborhood without hesitation. That flexibility made a big difference.
Booking the WelcomeCard through headout.com was also a smooth experience. The website was clean and easy to navigate, and the booking process only took a few minutes. All the details were clearly laid out, so I felt prepared before the trip even started. It’s the kind of convenience you don’t think much about at first, but you really appreciate once you’re traveling.
What really made this experience memorable was how naturally everything flowed. Instead of rushing from one attraction to another, I could wander, sit in a quiet café when I felt like it, and then move on again without checking the time or tickets. It felt less like following an itinerary and more like briefly living in the city.
If you’re planning a trip to Berlin, I’d definitely recommend getting the WelcomeCard, and booking it through headout.com made the whole process simple and stress-free. Small choices like this ended up shaping the trip in a way that I’ll remember for a long time.

Overall, I really liked the Citycard. I found it particularly practical that the use of public transport is already included without any complications - this makes getting around the city really stress-free. The discounts at various attractions are also a plus point, as you save quite a bit.
One suggestion for improvement would be to make the map even more digital: Instead of just getting a PDF with the info, an interactive online overview or app would be great, where you can see directly which services are included. I would also find a function where you can tick off what you have already visited or used particularly helpful - that way you would always have a good overview of your stay.
