Wah, Entopia Penang is really something else, wei! If you’re in Teluk Bahang, this place is a must-visit. The moment you step into Natureland, you’ll be surrounded by thousands of butterflies flying here and there—confirm syok for your OOTD photos. But it’s not just about the butterflies; the insect variety is also power. You can see all sorts of beetles and creepy crawlies that you won't simply find in your backyard. The indoor exhibition at The Cocoon is also very well-planned—not boring at all! You can actually learn a lot about their life cycles without feeling like you're back in school. Surprisingly, the food at Tapestree Cafe is actually steady! Usually, attraction food is just so-so, but here the lunch is quite onzz. Plus, the staff there are super friendly and always ready to help. Before you cabut, make sure to check out the souvenir shop. Their stuff is quite high quality and not the typical cheap plastic kind—got very nice insect-themed gifts. Overall, 10/10 experience. Don't say I bojio! Would you like me to add some relevant emojis to make it even more "social media ready"?

Divided into two distinct zones—The Natureland and The Cocoon—Entopia offers a blend of adventure, learning, and encounters with wildlife.

The Natureland

Stepping into The Natureland is like entering a vibrant garden paradise, teeming with life. This outdoor garden enclosure is home to over 200 species of tropical plants and a remarkable 15,000 butterflies fluttering freely around you. It’s one of the largest butterfly enclosures in Malaysia. As you wander through, you’ll come across flowing waterfalls, serene ponds, and hidden caves, which are habitats for a variety of reptiles and amphibians.

The Cocoon

As you move inside the Cocoon, the experience shifts from pure wonder to engaging education. This indoor zone is a treasure trove of knowledge, offering eight distinct areas: Pandora Forest, Metamorphosis, Cinerama, Breeding Ground, Lumino City, Downtown Entopia, Underground Mysteries, and Understory Tales. Each section invites you on a journey through the fascinating processes of nature, from the life cycle of butterflies to the hidden worlds of insects and beyond. You can engage in interactive exhibits, participate in hands-on learning activities, and discover the inner workings of ecosystems.

Catching of live butterflies and collecting of dead specimens are strictly not allowed within premises. If the person without a license is caught with a protected species by DWNP, a maximum fine of RM50,000 and/ or a maximum of 2 years jail sentence will be levied.
