Main entrance (Western Road)
The main entrance is located at 141 Western Road, Ngongotahā, just off State Highway 5. Look for the large Agrodome sign and sheep sculptures at the driveway. This entrance is fully wheelchair accessible, with wide, level pathways, ramp access, and automatic doors leading into the reception and ticketing area. Accessible parking bays are available right by the entrance, and the entry is suitable for prams and mobility scooters. All visitors, including those arriving by bus or taxi, use this entrance for both the Farm Show and Farm Tour check-in.
Regular hours: Open daily from 8:30am to 5pm.
Farm Show times: Three shows daily at 9:30am, 11am, and 2:30pm.
Farm tour times: Tours run throughout the day, typically following each Farm Show and at scheduled intervals.
Last entry: Final admission is at 3:30pm to allow time for the last Farm Show and Tour.
Special hours/closures: Closed on Christmas Day (December 25). Hours may vary on public holidays or for special events. Check the official website for updates before your visit.
A well-stocked souvenir shop is located near the main entrance, offering farm-themed gifts and mementos.
A dedicated kids' play area and sheep-themed playground are available for children to enjoy before or after the farm show and tour.
The Woollen Mill Café serves light meals, snacks, and drinks. Please note that menu options and hours may be limited on some days.
Clean and accessible toilets are available throughout the site, including near the show auditorium and café.
