From Kraków: Full-Day Trip to Zakopane with Chochołów Thermal Spa, Cable Car & Transfers

When I woke up the morning if this trip I actually wanted to cancel because I was so tired from a busy first 2 days in Krakow. It was an early start and a very long day so I was not looking forward to going but I am so thankful that I sucked it up and went. We had an absolute blast. Learning about the traditions of the highlanders, tasting traditional cheese was so interesting. Zakopane is beautiful, the market stalls are reasonably priced in my eyes and the food was lovely so much to do and see. I was worried about the cable car but it isn't scary at all. It is large, modern and feels incredibly safe. The thermal baths, Amazing!! Could've stayed here all day with the help of the music and the swim up bar. Pick up location was a 12 minute walk our apartment so not far at all. It is a long bus journey but it doesn't feel like it, comfort stop, traditional house stop, cheese, vodka stop, Magda's facts and music really breaks up the journey before Zakopane and it isn't much distance to thermal baths from there. The bus itself was clean and comfortable. Has air conditioning, charging ports and the seats are comfortable enough. Big thanks to Andrew for driving us safely and Magda our guide who is knowledgeable, engaging and very funny. I like the group chat where we could keep in touch if we needed help or requests songs for the jorney back. I especially enjoyed the extra recommendations from Magda on good places to eat and visit in Zakopane and again when we arrived back to Krakow. All in all a fabulous trip, well organised that I highly recommend.

I can’t recommend the Kraków–Zakopane tour highly enough—it was genuinely one of the highlights of our trip. From the very beginning, everything ran smoothly. We received a message the evening before from our guide, Mirek, who was absolutely fantastic. He was warm, engaging and ensured everyone was getting what they wanted from the various stops throughout the day. Mirek was knowledgeable, well organised, and explained everything clearly throughout the day. Information was shared through WhatsApps with great recommendations for shops and restaurants. More importantly everything ran to schedule with plenty of time to relax at each stop. Overall, it was a fantasticly planned and thoroughly enjoyable experience from start to finish. If you’re considering booking this tour—go for it, you won’t regret it!

Everything was perfect from start to end. Magda was an amazing tour leader. She even created a WhatsApp group for all of us. Couldn't ask for better. Very good value for money. Besides, Zakopane and all other places in the tour were beautiful. Definitely highly recommended.

It was a great experience from beginning to end with several stop-offs that were fantastic fun and informative, the host was excellent talked us through everything and was clear with instructions and helpful with local knowledge at each area.

Magda was absolutely brilliant. She gave us lots of fun facts and local knowledge. She was very clear with her timings and gave us plenty of time at each stop. Absolutely amazing tour of chocholow and zakopane. We had 0 problems with tickets or travel. It was great from start to finish. Cannot recommend enough!!

We had a fantastic time on this tour. Our tour guide Marek was exceptional, providing information with personality and humour. He was knowledgeable and we felt in safe hands all day. The stops were all well organised and interesting, and didn't feel rushed. The views were spectacular. Well worth the trip!
