Getting started
Your ticket includes entry to Wai-O-Tapu Thermal Wonderland. Arrive during opening hours, check in at the visitor centre, and explore the park’s walking trails at your own pace.

The opening hours at Wai-o-Tapu are from 8:30am - 4:30pm, with the last entry at 3pm.

Children must be supervised by a parent or guardian at all times.

This is an active geothermal area, meaning the ground and water often reach boiling temperatures. Do not wander outside of designated areas

Wai-O-Tapu is a cashless on site, all major credit cards and EFTPOS are accepted.
