Your visit begins with direct access to the Trianon Estate, a retreat built for the French royals. Upon arrival, pass through a security check where ID and ticket validation are required.
What to expect
Step into the quieter, more intimate side of Versailles as you explore the Trianon Estate, where French monarchs escaped the formality of court life. Spread across palaces, landscaped gardens, and hidden corners, this royal retreat offers a glimpse into the private world of Louis XIV, Napoleon, and Marie Antoinette.

To make the most of your visit—the Gardens are open from 8am, the Estate of Trianon from noon, the Gallery of Coaches, and The Royal Tennis Court at 12:30pm.
