Planning a trip through Italy? Train travel is a fantastic way to see the country. It's inexpensive, efficient, and a great way to witness scenic landscapes. With this pass, you get to go on 3 separate journeys on any Trenitalia line from Frecce and FrecciaLink to Intercity, Intercity Night, and EuroCity Italy-Switzerland connections. The pass is valid for 7 days from the date of activation, and 11 months from the date of purchase. So plan your trip at your convenience! Travel north to south from Rome to Florence to Venice. Or, travel southward to outer regions like Lecce on the heel of Italy's boot, with the Frecciargento or Frecciabiance high-speed lines.
Select from ticket options as per your preference. The ‘Easy’ option gives you access to 2nd class and standard coaches across all lines. The ‘Comfort’ option gives you access to 1st and Premium classes. The ‘Executive’ option opens up all the sections and couchette services to you aboard Intercity Night trains.
Important Information
- This pass is valid for 7 days from the date of activation, and 11 months from the date of purchase.
- If, after purchase, you no longer need to use your Pass, you may claim a refund of 80% of the original purchase price provided you request this reimbursement before the Pass has been activated.
- The Trenitalia Pass can be purchased and used only by foreign nationals residing outside Italy (Italians cannot purchase the pass).
- Seat reservations for the trips included in the pass are mandatory and free of charge.

- Each Adult Pass holder can include a maximum of two children between the ages of 4 to 12 in their booking, free of charge.
- An additional Youth Pass must be purchased if an Adult Pass holder wishes to travel with more than 2 children.
- A child aged 4 and under can travel for free, however, they cannot occupy their own seat and must be accompanied by an Adult Pass holder who also holds an Infant/Child Pass.
- Kindly note that your booking can change as per date/connection/time/train, so it's advised to make a reservation according to the terms and conditions applicable to the base fare and within the validity frame of the pass.

Participants must activate the pass in order to use it.

Participants are requested to activate the pass on this website, at Italian ticket offices, at foreign and Italian travel agencies and tour operators, at the Trenitalia call centre, at self-service ticket kiosks, at FRECCIAClub and at the FRECCIADesk in Italian railroad stations.

To activate the pass, you must select the first day of your travel, i.e. the day from which you will use the pass.

You will then receive your pass via email, which you can show to Trenitalia personnel at the station or on board along with a valid foreign identity document.
