Landmarks in Florence

Both museums were amazing, especially the David... Wow! However book your tickets not far from one another in time. The visit takes around an hour and a half for both museums.

Skip the line is always a gift. The opportunity to once again visit the magnificent work David, where stone comes to life, was magical.

I recommend taking tickets just for the tower. Which was amazing! The view from it was incredible. Also take good shoes for this visit.

The gallery has a very good selection of artwork. I really enjoyed seeing works of art that I only saw in history books as a student. The staff are very welcoming and speak English, so it really helps. Even though there's a long line to get in, it goes by very fast because staff is very efficient and getting people in. Overall, I highly recommend coming to this gallery if you are in Florence. It is definitely going to be the highlight of your trip seeing all the amazing artwork there. I did give it four instead of five stars because it was hot inside the museum. Even though they had air conditioning on, it wasn't enough and it was pretty hot while walking around the gallery. We like imitating the paintings when we go to the galleries as you could see in the photos below!

The tickets were immediately available meaning when we arrive we just walked past the queue and straight to the security line, which was really short and quick. We loved the progression from the medieval artwork through to the height of the renaissance. My two favourites will always be Boticelli's, La Primavera, Leonardo's Annunciation and Michaelangelo's Tondo Doni. And of the building itself, the ceiling Frescos, especially the circular glass roof birds and the roof in the maps room and the window views of the Ponte vecchio.

Muy fácil de ingresar con la entrada electrónica. Las explicaciones de la audio guía muy completas y entendibles. Es muy grande el palacio y a veces se confunde por donde hay que seguir según la explicación. No pude entrar a los aposentos reales porque, aunque gratis, había que retirar otro ticket y eso no se había aclarado con anterioridad. Por lo demás, todo fue perfecto. Muy recomendable!

Al suo livello metto altresì Adele, la guida che ci ha accolto a Siena. Professionale, coinvolgente, empatica,speciale.Fa venir voglia di tornare anche domani a Siena per scoprire le mille cose che il gioiello toscano ancora non ha svelato ad un visitatore mordi e fuggi e che lei, da senese doc, sicuramente conosce.
