I had an overall enjoyable experience with the Hop-On Hop-Off Bus in Japan today. What I appreciated the most was the availability of three different routes, each offering a diverse range of tourist attractions. This flexibility made it easy to explore the city based on personal interests and time availability. However, there are a few areas that could be improved. The live map feature would be much more helpful if it were fully available in English and integrated directly with navigation apps like Google Maps, similar to what is offered in Singapore. This would significantly enhance convenience for international travelers. Additionally, I had an unpleasant experience with a staff member on the Red Course (R1) this morning. The staff was quite firm and insisted that we move to the Green Line due to the long queue for the Red Line, even though we had specifically planned to take the Red route. Instead of offering a suggestion, it felt more like we were being redirected to a route that did not meet our needs. The interaction came across as discouraging rather than helpful. Furthermore, the staff’s attitude on the bus was not very polite, which affected the overall experience. With some improvements in customer service and system usability, this could be an even better experience for visitors.

Bus was not with open roof but a replacement bus like normal city one, and because it was crowded i was sitting in extra seat in the middle having 2 people on the left and 2 people on the right sitting next to me I was not able to see anything, and since it was normal city bus I couldn't use audio guide...

The meeting point was not clearly outlined. Additional information like "by Apple Store" would have been helpful for foreign guests not famtwith Tokyo. We were dropped off two blocks away and there were others there too we had to ask drivers of an out of service bus where it was.
