The Green Planet Dubai is one of the best indoor family attractions in Dubai, especially if you have kids or enjoy nature and animals. It’s an indoor tropical rainforest with birds, sloths, reptiles, monkeys, fish, and free-flying animals inside a huge biodome. What people like * Very good for families and children * Cool indoor environment during Dubai heat * Close interaction with animals and birds * Educational and interactive experience * Beautiful rainforest atmosphere with waterfalls and “rainstorm” effects Common complaints * Some visitors feel ticket prices are expensive for a 1.5–2 hour visit * Can get crowded on weekends * Play area may sometimes be closed * A few reviews mentioned small enclosures or staff not controlling noisy visitors well My overall review * For families with young kids: 8.5/10 * For animal/nature lovers: 9/10 * For adults only looking for thrill attractions: 6.5/10 Tips before you go * Visit on weekday mornings for less crowd * Book online for discounts * Plan around 2 hours * Combine with City Walk for food and shopping after visit Worth it? I recently visited The Green Planet in Dubai after booking my tickets through Headout, and it turned out to be a fantastic experience from start to finish. The booking process on Headout was smooth and hassle-free. I received confirmation in 10mins, and the e-tickets were easy to access, which made entry into the attraction quick and convenient. I also received great discount over this platform. The Green Planet itself is truly unique — a beautifully designed indoor tropical rainforest right in the middle of the city. The biodiversity inside is impressive, with a wide variety of birds, reptiles, and exotic plants. Walking through the different levels felt immersive, and the staff were knowledgeable and friendly, always ready to share interesting facts about the animals. One of the highlights was getting up close to some of the wildlife, especially the free-flying birds and sloths. It’s a great place for both adults and kids, offering an educational yet relaxing experience. Overall, I highly recommend booking through Headout for its convenience and visiting The Green Planet if you’re looking for something different in Dubai. Definitely worth the visit!

The Green Planet is honestly one of my favorite little hidden gems in Duba - it’s such a surreal experience walking from the concrete heat of City Walk straight into a lush, humid rainforest. The way they’ve built this massive bio-dome around a central tree is really cool, and it’s genuinely relaxing to wander through the levels while sloths, lemurs, and exotic birds just hang out around you. It’s definitely on the smaller side, so you probably won’t spend all day there, but it’s a perfect way to kill a couple of hours if you want something different that feels like a real escape from the city. Just make sure to book your tickets online beforehand to save a few dirhams, and definitely go early if you want to avoid the crowds and actually get a good look at the animals.

The Green Planet bio-dome is a huge vertical garden (it covers 60,000 square feet!) that offers an intensive nature experience. Dive right in and explore the majestic green canopy that towers over the dome and recreates the natural habitat of the species it houses. Home to over 3,000 unique species of flora and fauna, see exhibitions and displays with everything from hyacinth macaw and toco toucan to porcupines, crocodile lizards, and snakes.

A major highlight is the massive 35-meter-high artificial Kapok-style tree, the largest of its kind in the world. There's even a waterfall attached to the tree that adds to the magic, besides filling the air with a cool mist. Located smack in the center of the biodome, it covers all the elements of an ecosystem. This can be seen across its four levels: Flooded Rainforest, Forest Floor, the Midstory, and the Canopy. Expect surprises at every turn here, from the Bat Cave to the Australian Walkabout, Sloth Encounter, Sugar Glider Encounter, and Reptile Encounter.

Explore the tree and its surroundings by using the spiral walkway built around the tree or by boarding an elevator. If you’re looking for an adventure, don’t miss the opportunity to walk along a rope suspension bridge to a treehouse that offers unparalleled and up-close views of the artificial tree!
