I paid the extra for the express pass which is definitely worth doing to avoid waiting for the elevator. I got there not long after it opened on a Monday and there weren't too many people around which made it easy to take advantage of the photo props and to see the brilliant view. Would love to go again in the late afternoon to see the lights of the city. Highly recommend!

Everything went very quickly and luckily not that many people. But a little bit high in price.

You will use your skip-the-line access with a reserved slot to clear the ticketing queue and security checks more quickly. Once inside the observatory lobby, follow the signs and staff directions to reach the high-speed elevators that take you to the upper floors.

89th-floor indoor observatory

This main indoor deck offers panoramic city views from high above Taipei, in a climate-controlled space. You can move freely around the floor to look out in different directions and explore displays that explain the tower and its surroundings.
