Went with my boyfriend for a day tour. The guide (I think her name was Lindiwe) was sooo enthusiastic and just made the whole thing fun. We got a bit of drizzle halfway but honestly, the misty views made it kinda magical? Some stops felt a bit rushed (the penguins!!! wish we stayed longer), but overall def worth it. Oh and you can’t take pics at one of the museums, heads up.

Did a solo trip and ended up chatting with folks from 3 different countries on the bus, which was a blast. Tour guide Clement is a LEGEND, had us laughing all day. The weather started cloudy but totally cleared at Table Mountain. Got queue-skipped at one spot (thanks, Jeff!) but do bring snacks, lunch is late.

Mixed feelings tbh. Saw loads but felt a bit like a checklist. Guide was suuuper knowledgeable and friendly. Bus was a bit cramped. Still, if you want to see everything in a day, this is it.

Super fun tour, went with my partner. Our guide, Gordon, was full of cool stories. He let us take our time at the viewpoints, and even showed us a hidden coffee spot on the way. Weather was windy but that made the waves at the cape look EPIC!

Such a cool day! Went with my bestie. Guide Lina sent us a text the night before with all the info, which was super helpful. Pics at every stop, and she made sure nobody got left behind. Weather was a bit iffy but we made the best of it.

What to bring

Table Mountain tickets: Table Mountain cable car tickets can be purchased online in advance for convenience.

Weather: The Table Mountain cableway is weather dependent and tickets remain valid for 7 days if it is closed.

Child seats: Infants and children up to age 5 require an infant or child seat; please advise in advance if you need one at no extra cost.

Pickup time: The recommended pickup time is 8:30am, but this can be adjusted for private tours.

Entrance fees: Some entrance fees, such as those for the Seal Island boat trip, Cape of Good Hope, Boulder's Penguins colony, Groot Constantia wine tasting, and Table Mountain cableway, are not included in the tour price and must be paid separately.
