I had a really great experience booking through Headout. The entry process at Sydney Tower Eye was smooth with no hassle. The views from the observation deck were absolutely breathtaking, especially on a clear day. The Skywalk was definitely the highlight—it felt exciting and safe at the same time. We had such an amazing time at the sky tower on the observation deck. The workers were kind and had lots of information to give us about Sydney. Me and my partner went and it was so amazing we would do it again. The veiws were to die for. Such an incredible experience thankyou for the team for providing us with this.

Great way to finish the day with the sunset behind us in the photos. The wind was crazy strong which I loved. Angie and Evan took us outside with clear instructions, fun and laughter and kept us entertained.

Getting started

Arrive at Sydney Tower Eye at least 45 minutes before your SKYWALK start time to check in and present your photo ID. After check-in, you store your personal belongings in provided lockers, as no loose items are permitted on the SKYWALK. You then get ready with your group, meeting your SKYWALK guide before heading toward the outdoor walk.

This 60-minute fully guided SKYWALK tour takes you outside at 268 meters above the city on Sydney Tower Eye. You join a small group on a controlled, harnessed walk around the outdoor platform while your guide leads the experience.

Step out onto 2 glass platforms that let you look directly down beneath your feet, adding an extra thrill to this bucket-list adventure.

Make use of lockers for personal belongings before you head outside, since no loose items, including cameras, are permitted on the SKYWALK.

What to bring

Photo ID: Bring an accepted physical photo ID as listed, since you must present it on arrival.

Arrival time: Arrive 45 minutes before your SKYWALK start time for check-in and briefing.

Clothing: Wear closed-in shoes and pants or shorts, since skirts and dresses are not permitted on SKYWALK.

What’s not allowed

Loose items: Do not bring loose items on SKYWALK, including cameras, for safety reasons.

Unaccepted ID formats: Do not use photos of ID on a phone or camera, credit cards alone, or foreign ID without supporting ID.

Additional information

Age requirement: Guests must be at least 10 years old to join the SKYWALK tour.

Minors: Guests under 18 must be accompanied by a guardian who is 18 years or older.

Adult to child ratio: One adult may accompany one child aged 10, or up to three children aged 11 to 17.

Group size rule: Bookings must be made for a minimum of two participants, since solo travelers are not permitted.

ID types: Australian guests may use a current Driving Licence, Proof of Age Card, or Passport.

International ID: International guests may use a current Passport or Driving Licence with supporting identification.

Rescheduling: To reschedule, email STE.POS@merlinentertainments.com.au at least 72 hours before your visit.

Voucher validity: Gift vouchers for this experience remain valid for three years from the purchase date.
