Experience sumo traditions in Asakusa through live demonstrations by retired wrestlers, interactive sumo activities, and a premium Japanese meal. The experience is English-guided and includes opportunities for participation and photos.
Getting started
Arrive at the Asakusa Sumo Club Annex, where staff will guide you through ticket validation near the entrance. Take your seat and listen to a short introduction by the moderator before the program begins.
What to expect

See demonstrations of morning exercises (asa geiko), sumo techniques (kimarite), and a best-of-three match between retired wrestlers.

Learn the rules and etiquette of sumo and join a lottery for a chance to challenge a wrestler in the ring.
