My visit to Summit One Vanderbilt was one of the most memorable experiences of my trip to New York City. From the moment I entered the building, everything felt smooth and well organized. The staff guided visitors efficiently, making the entry process quick and stress-free. As I made my way through the elevators, the excitement continued to build, knowing that I was about to see one of the most famous views in New York.

Observatoire bien sécurisé, une vue imprenable sur Manhattan. Nous pouvons prendre des photos comme on veut. Le seul bémol, un bruit sourd (musique ou ventilation) qui fait mal à la tête au bout d'un certain temps.

Está viagem foi muito programada e desejada para realizar o sonho de conhecer Nova Iorque da Manuela minha filha que fez 15 anos , faltando poucos dias para embarcar ela começou a me pedir os passeios preferidos, entre eles visitar o Summit era o mais desejado de todos , ele foi nosso último passeio , quando ela subiu e viu Nova Iorque de cima me abraçou e começou a chorar dizendo que sonhos podem se tornar realidade, e que nunca mais esqueceria daquele dia . Foram muitas fotos , abraços , beijos . A memória ficou gravada no meu coração . Fazer a compra com tanta facilidade 1 dia antes de viajar e ter esta experiência que tivemos valeu cada centavo de organização de 1 ano antes para viajar .

Tanto Summit como Edge me han sorprendido gratamente. Summit, además de las espectaculares vistas de la gran manzana, ofrece la divertidísima experiencia de las bolas plateadas flotantes, así como mirador de cristal en el suelo. En Edge crees estar en las nubes al asomarte a las cristaleras ligeramente inclinadas hacia el vacío. La sensación al estar en su suelo de cristal es increíble.

What to bring

Bring sunglasses if you are visiting during the day, as the reflective surfaces create an extremely bright environment.

What’s not allowed

Large bags, backpacks, and luggage cannot be brought inside, and there are no storage facilities available on site.

Professional photography equipment is not permitted; only personal handheld devices may be used for photos.

Additional information

All bags and containers are subject to security screening upon entry.

Guests under 16 must be accompanied by an adult at all times.

Wear appropriate clothing to avoid unwanted reflections on mirrored and glass floors. Pants, shorts, tights, and flat shoes are recommended.

Choose comfortable footwear and avoid stilettos, steel-toe boots, sports cleats, or any shoes that could damage the floors.

Empire State Building

What’s not allowed

Weapons of any type, including firearms and explosives, are strictly prohibited.

Glass containers, bottles, and marbles are not allowed anywhere on the premises.

Large bags, luggage, and oversized items cannot be brought inside.

Outside food is not permitted, and eating is not allowed in the Observatory or on the outdoor deck.

Tripods, professional camera equipment, and large gear are prohibited.

Pets are not allowed; only trained service animals may enter.

Accessibility

The Empire State Building is fully ADA accessible, with ramps, lowered viewing areas, and accessible binoculars.

Wheelchair-accessible restrooms are available on the 86th floor.

Service dogs are welcome throughout the attraction.

Both motorized and manual wheelchairs are permitted inside.

Additional information

Guests visiting on Thanksgiving Day (Thursday, November 27, 2025) will receive special entry instructions in their confirmation email.

Reservations are mandatory, and tickets are valid only for the specific date and time selected at purchase.

Children under six can enter for free when accompanied by an adult ticket holder.

Refunds are not offered for weather conditions, wait times, or crowd levels.
