OMG, what a delight absolutely perfect evening. The boat was incredible. Oldest steam paddleboat still working under steam. The music was beautiful Jazz. Beginning to end it did not cease to amaze us. The food was absolutly incredible. Very informative from learning we were in the deepest part of the Mighty Mississippi River. Staff was exceptional. After 1000's of trips to NOLA & listening to that music from our room all day & night I thought it was a recording but NO there is truly a man up top playing it by hand. We have a new favorite go to inNOLA now. We will definitely be back for another beautiful evening. Worth every single penny it cost. 10☆'s perfect

The dining experience was incredible. Delicious food - the seafood pasta and gumbo was my favorite - the atmosphere was a trip back in time (with air conditioning). I recommend eating dinner first while docked so when the boat takes off, you're free to roam about to see the engine room, the river, and the band on the top floor, which was excellent. Everything about the evening was fantastic. The next time we travel to New Orleans, we will definitely be having dinner on the Natchez again.

We took the cruise to celebrate our Dad's 75th birthday. It was perfect! The music was great, the food was delicious, and the views of New Orleans in the evening were amazing!

Spend an evening aboard the Steamboat NATCHEZ, cruising along the Mississippi River as New Orleans’ illuminated skyline and riverfront reflect across the water.

Set the mood before departure with a live Calliope concert at the dock, followed by a Dixieland jazz performance on board that brings the sounds of New Orleans to your dinner cruise.

Enjoy live narration from a local guide as you sail, combining riverfront sightseeing with stories about the city’s history and culture. Relax on the open-air decks or head indoors between musical performances.

Savor a buffet dinner featuring Creole classics and local delicacies, with onboard bars adding to the relaxed atmosphere.

Choose your preferred dinner seating, with a 6pm first seating or a 7:45pm second seating, depending on the option selected, to fit your evening plans.

Enhance your cruise with optional drinks or a festive celebration package, including three cocktails from a seasonal menu for adults or unlimited juice, soft drinks, and water for children.

The food and service was good, little disappointed we had the 6pm dinner and sat at the dock while eating. would have liked to know that was what we were paying for. I don't recall reading that part in the description of the dinner " cruise" but I could be wrong.

Boat was fun. Food was good. Drinks were good. My only disappoint was my tickets did not come across in my email. Kept getting messages to go to the app. The other issue is it's advertised as a sunset cruise and we stayed at the dock well after sunset. Wanted to get pictures. I definitely will use Headout again. It was an easy process.

This is a very enjoyable way to spend a few hours in the evening. I've done this tour three times over the last several years. Food is decent. My only negative is that the live jazz music is modern jazz. I was hoping for more traditional New Orleans Jazz. I especially love the music played on the steam caliope on the roof.

The dinner was delicious! The jazz.music was fabulous! The boat ride was smooth & wonderful! However there was no narration as expected. And the service by one of our waitresses was horrible!! The assistant waitress was great as she made up for the laziness of her partner!!
