Mein Besuch im Louvre Abu Dhabi war eine echte Überraschung. Das Gebäude selbst wirkt schon beim Ankommen beeindruckend. Die große Kuppel und das Lichtspiel darunter haben etwas sehr Beruhigendes. Innen findet man eine Mischung aus bekannten Kunstwerken und spannenden Stücken aus verschiedenen Kulturen, gut erklärt und angenehm präsentiert. Was mir besonders gefallen hat: Man hat genug Platz, um alles in Ruhe anzuschauen, ohne sich gedrängt zu fühlen. Der Außenbereich am Wasser ist ebenfalls wunderschön und perfekt, um kurz durchzuatmen. Das Personal war freundlich und aufmerksam, was den Besuch unkompliziert gemacht hat. Insgesamt ein Ort, den man in Abu Dhabi auf jeden Fall mitnehmen sollte und das nicht nur für Kunstliebhaber, sondern für jeden, der besondere Orte mag. 😌

Visiting the Louvre Abu Dhabi was an unforgettable revelation! From the very first steps under its dazzling dome, I felt a sense of awe — as if I had entered another dimension where history and art breathe together. The paintings, sculptures, and ancient artifacts are mesmerizing and transport you through different eras. The mini cart from the car park to the building was great. Our driver even gave us a tour round so we could see the other buildings around. The whole museum is awesome. So we'll set out and items displayed to show them at their best. My one comment would be that labels explaining what items were were at ground level ( I understand not to distract from the item ) but hard to read at eye level.

9 snow attractions: Enjoy unlimited access to rides like the Polar Express Train, Ice & Floe’s Toboggan Race, Drift’s Downhill Run, Troll Bowl, and Crystal Carousel.

Winter gear included: Get fully equipped with a snow jacket, pants (sizes S–4XL), boots, gloves, socks, and helmets for kids under 13.

Louvre Abu Dhabi

Striking architecture: Walk under the 180m-wide dome that creates a “rain of light” effect and covers open-air walkways and reflecting pools.

Art through the ages: See 23 permanent galleries featuring works from ancient art legends like Da Vinci and Monet to modern masters like Cy Twombly.

Made for families: Kids can explore their own space in the Children’s Museum, filled with hands-on exhibits designed just for them.

What's not allowed

Snow Park Abu Dhabi

This experience is restricted for guests under the age of 2 years.

Drift’s Downhill Run and Snow Hare’s Bunny Hill are restricted for guests under the height of 0.9m and above 1.2m.

The Crystal Carousel and Polar Express are restricted for guests under the height of 1.05m. Guests below 1.05m must be accompanied by an adult.

The Tree Slide is restricted for guests under the height of 1.1m.

Ice & Floe’s Bumper Tubes are restricted for guests under the height of 1.2m.

The Flight of the Snowy Owl is restricted for guests under the height of 1.2m and over the height of 2.0m and under the weight of 30kg and over the weight of 120kg.

The Troll Bowl is restricted for guests under the height of 1.25m.

Graupel’s Summit Escape and Ice & Floe’s Toboggan Race are restricted for guests under the height of 1.25m and over the height of 2.0m and under the weight of 40kg and over the weight of 100kg.

Louvre Abu Dhabi

Food, weapons, paint, smoking devices, musical instruments, fishing and photography equipment, and liquids are not allowed inside the venue.

Bags and backpacks, except small handbags, are not allowed in the venue. You can keep them in your accommodation or the venue cloakroom.

Drones and commercial photography are not allowed inside the venue without prior authorization from the museum.

Pets are not allowed inside the venue.

This experience is wheelchair and stroller accessible. Wheelchairs and strollers are available for loan from the loan desk.

Guide dogs are welcome at the venue.

The Dome remains open until midnight, with the last entry at 11pm.
