Die einstündige Grachtenfahrt war insgesamt eine sehr schöne und entspannte Erfahrung. Besonders positiv war das geschlossene und beheizte Boot, wodurch die Fahrt auch bei kühleren Temperaturen sehr angenehm war. Während der gesamten Tour hatte man eine tolle Aussicht auf die Stadt und konnte viele Sehenswürdigkeiten aus einer ganz neuen Perspektive entdecken. Das hat die Fahrt wirklich besonders gemacht. Der Kapitän hat die gesamte Tour auf Englisch erklärt und dabei viele interessante Informationen sowie geschichtliche Hintergründe zu den einzelnen Orten vermittelt. Trotz der englischen Sprache war alles gut verständlich und sehr informativ. Alles in allem eine klare Empfehlung für alle, die die Stadt entspannt vom Wasser aus erleben und gleichzeitig etwas über ihre Geschichte erfahren möchten.

The sights and the guide. We got lucky with the weather on the day. The boat filled up pretty quickly, so you need to go a bit in advance to make sure you got a seat.

Absolutely unforgettable experience! This 75-minute canal cruise turned out to be one of the highlights of my trip to Amsterdam. The captain was not only highly professional but also genuinely warm, friendly, and attentive—constantly making sure everyone felt comfortable and included. And I couldn’t have chosen a better day—King’s Day! The whole city was glowing in vibrant shades of orange, full of life and celebration. The canals were alive with beautifully decorated boats, music, and happy people everywhere. Seeing Amsterdam from the water during such a magical moment felt truly unique—like being part of a living postcard. The views were stunning, the atmosphere joyful, and the overall experience simply perfect. I felt relaxed, safe, and genuinely happy throughout the entire cruise. Our boat tour in Amsterdam was absolutely wonderful. The views were breathtaking as we admired the city from the window, with its charming canals and beautiful scenery. It became even more special when we moved to the back of the boat, where there was an open area like a lovely floating terrace on the water. That part truly made the experience unforgettable. The captain was extremely kind, cheerful, and full of humor. He made us laugh a lot with his engaging commentary and explanations of the places, buildings, and bridges we passed. He is an excellent tour guide with extensive knowledge of Amsterdam. We also really enjoyed having our favorite drinks on board, which made the whole experience even more delightful.
