Very enjoyable visit seeing all the fish etc., However, it would have been even better had we been able to hear the commentary about the turtles and sharks. The sound system was abolutely rubbish and we did not understand a word of what he was saying. All we got was a noise and only evry 10 - 20 words did we understand. You really need to get a better sound system. Although we enjoyed our visit, it would have been so much better if we could have heard what he was saying.

So its my first EVER time visiting Sea Life via Headout. Living so close to Brighton i wonder why its taken me two years to visit but it was well worth it and all the fishes at sea life were so fascinating. I went with my friend who also has never been so it was a joint first experience! We spent hours admiring the jellyfish, stingray and turtles. So much fun! Thank you, Adam.

A great day our. The grandkids loved it. They loved all the marine life and were in awe. The only downside was we couldn't hear very well the talk on the turtles, but overall had a brilliant time.

Super cute little date spot. It isn't very big, I had looked at everything within about 30 minutes. I reccomend going outside of peak season so you can take your time.

The architecture is stunning—this is the most beautiful SeaLife I’ve ever seen. The staff at the ticket counter are very friendly and helpful. The tunnel beneath the sharks and sea turtles is magnificent. So, nothing but good things to say about our visit. We were a bit unlucky that there was a lot of renovation work going on, which made it feel a bit messy. But that’s only temporary. We had a really wonderful day.

Home to the UK’s largest collection of sharks and rays under one roof, this historic aquarium brings you face-to-face with marine life across immersive, themed habitats.

What to bring

Bring your digital or printed ticket to present at the entrance for scanning.

Students must carry a valid student ID to use a student ticket.

What’s not allowed

Visitors under 16 are not permitted to enter without an accompanying adult.

Large bags and suitcases are not allowed inside the venue.

Accessibility

SEA LIFE Brighton is wheelchair accessible.

An accessible entrance is available via the beach underpass, reached using the ramp down to the seafront.

Accessible toilet facilities are available on site.

Guests with disabilities pay the standard admission price.

One accompanying carer receives free entry.

Additional information

Pre-booking is required for all visitors, including passholders and voucher holders.

Lockers and cloakrooms are not available, so large bags and luggage cannot be brought inside.

The Ocean Display in the auditorium has limited access, but it can also be viewed from the accessible Ocean Tunnel.

Children aged 3 years and under enter free, though a ticket must still be reserved.

Visitors under 16 must be accompanied by an adult aged 18 or over.

Standard admission includes a 10-minute arrival window.

Entry is valid all day, with same-day re-entry allowed until the final admission time.

The aquarium is usually quieter in the early morning and late afternoon.

Student tickets are valid during off-peak periods only (Mon–Fri) and are not accepted on weekends or peak dates.
