C'era molta gente ma tutti composti, siamo riusciti a vedere lo spettacolo di luci all'interno. Consiglio una visita in questa basilica perché è veramente molto bella!

No trip to Valencia is complete without visiting the city's own 'Sistine Chapel,' the San Nicolas Church! Located in the heart of Valencia, the church has opened to the public only recently, despite being one of the oldest churches in the city. Simply pick up your audio guide at the entrance (it is available in English, German, and Italian) and go exploring this stunning building. Funded over 700 years ago, the church was formerly a Gothic temple that, in the course of the centuries, came to own the amazing facade that it has today. By the end of the 17th century, its inside walls were bedecked with beautiful paintings that were completely covered by an opulent Baroque style! With the help of the Fundación Hortensia Herrero Maecenas, over 2000 square meters of these lovely paintings were restored. Spend your time here exploring all this and more, at your own pace.

The entry of bulky objects is not allowed

Children under 16 must always be accompanied by an adult to enter the premises

Individual visitors and groups must access Calle Caballeros number 35

For groups, prior reservation of entry is mandatory to visit San Nicolás. In the event that a group has not made a prior reservation, it will only be able to access it if there are time slots available

The schedules and itineraries may be modified and the Church's areas to be visited may be limited for reasons of security, restoration, maintenance, or specific events

The Church can regulate the capacity inside the temple and its spaces according to criteria of security and conservation of the monument

Keep your voice low and the mobile phone quiet

Pictures without flash can be taken and videos can be recorded

Eating or drinking is not allowed inside the temple

The Church of San Nicolás is a place of worship and also a magnificent example of historical and artistic heritage, therefore in our visit, we must observe respectful behavior, both with the building and with the rest of the people who visit it. Dress decently and appropriately for the place of worship
