Alberto was wonderful! Incredibly knowledgeable and charismatic, passionate about the work and its history. 1000% recommend this man. He made this experience that much more enjoyable. Headout made the purchase, meet up and touring experience extremely easy and straight forward. This was my first time using Headout and my first ever guided tour (I love museums and taking my time with reading and embracing the art and don't like feeling rushed but thought this would be worth it) absolutely worth it. Looking forward to my next travel journey, I will 100% be booking other experiences through Headout. Thank you guys!

Our guide was amazing! He was a wealth of knowledge about all things Sagrada Família Basílica. From start to finish, he provided information along every step of the way, and he was so kind and friendly, answering all questions without hesitation. And the Basílica - AMAZING!! What an experience!! One of the most beautiful buildings I have ever had the pleasure seeing. We will recommend Headout and IBE to our friends and family - 10/10.

I didn't know what to expect tbh. My only goal was to be able to enter the Sagrada Familia, since all tickets were sold out way in advance. But I was fortunate enough to find the tickets on headout. The Lord and Alex delivered. Alex is the best guide to bring along to visit the Sagrada Familia. It was a fun, learnful, and absolutly breathtaking experience. I'm greatful to have been able to witness the beauty of the basilica inside.

Easy to find meeting place and guide, short walk to the Sagrada Família, clear instructions, very friendly and informative guide (Gonzalo), kept us all together and told us all we needed to know about the attraction and Gaudi's vision. Really enjoyed it and would definitely recommend to friends and family. Well worth the money as a 'once in a lifetime' experience!

Stepping inside felt like walking into a magical light cathedral. The towering tree-like columns, kaleidoscopic stained-glass windows, and flowing natural light create a dreamlike atmosphere no outdoor photo can capture. Booking a timed ticket in advance is essential to avoid missing out on one of the most unique architectural wonders in the world."

The Sagrada Familia is beautiful. The guide was knowledgeable. He knew a lot about the religious information. My only concern was that we paid $517 Cdn to be on a small group tour and their were over 20 people in our group. The crowds were so big, it was hard to stay together.

Our Guide was very knowledgeable and the earphones were extremely helpful. The tour was run efficiently and effectively. The Sagrada Familia cathedral was spectacular. I cna see why it is the most popular attraction in Barcelona, and we enjoyed it very much.

Fast-track your entry to Sagrada Familia and explore Gaudí’s iconic basilica at your own pace.

Getting started

Arrive at the main entrance at your selected time. Flash your fast-track ticket to bypass the long ticketing queue and head straight to the mandatory security check before stepping into one of the world’s most architecturally ambitious landmarks.

What to expect

Sagrada Familia

A symbol of Barcelona and a UNESCO-listed site, the Sagrada Familia has been in the making since 1882. Designed by Catalan architect Antoni Gaudí, it’s a living, breathing piece of architecture where religious symbolism, natural geometry, and artistic detail collide.

Features

Facades: Each façade is a sculpture in itself. The Nativity façade is ornate and joyful, with floral motifs, animals, and scenes from Christ’s early life. The stark and haunting angular forms of the Passion façade depict suffering and sacrifice with brutal honesty. The Glory façade, still under construction, promises to be the grandest.

Nave: Walk through a forest of stone columns designed to resemble branching trees. The light filtering through the stained glass transforms the space from golden warmth to cool serenity as the sun moves.

Stained glass windows: Each window is strategically colored to create mood and movement. The west side glows in fiery reds and oranges, while the east bathes in cool blues and greens, inspired by dawn and dusk.

Ceiling: Look up to see hyperboloid vaults and star-shaped patterns that resemble constellations—blurring the line between architecture and nature.

Chapel: A quieter space within the basilica reserved for prayer and reflection. With limited access, it offers a glimpse into the spiritual heart of the structure.

Museum: Don’t miss the on-site museum where you’ll find plaster models, drawings, and personal artifacts that offer insight into Gaudí’s vision and the basilica’s continuing evolution.

Crypt: Visit the dimly lit underground crypt where Gaudí himself is buried, and pay your respects to the man behind this genius.

Ticket options let you tailor your experience; stick with fast-track entry or upgrade to include the multilingual audio guide for curated commentary and tower access. Need assistance at entry? Go for the hosted entry, where a friendly host guides your through entry and gives you a 30-minute intro before you head in or join a full English-guided tour for a deep dive into the basilica’s layered history.

What to bring

Wear comfortable shoes as the experience involves walking and standing.

If you choose the audio guide, download the official app before reaching the basilica to avoid signal issues. Instructions will be mailed to you along with your ticket voucher. Just come prepared with a fully charged phone and your trusted earphones.

Documentation for children is mandatory; admission staff may request official documentation to verify children’s age. So, carry an ID or passport.

What’s not allowed

Keep in mind food & beverages, narcotic substances, and sharp metallic tools or objects are not allowed on this experience. Pack wisely!

Strict dress code: Shoulders and knees must be covered; tank tops, strapless shirts, short shorts, short skirts, exposed backs or bellies, see-through clothing, flip-flops, bare-feet, swimwear, festive attire, or clothing with designs that draw attention for religious or promotional purposes are not allowed.

Hats and caps are not allowed inside except for religious, spiritual, or health reasons.

Photographic, sound, and/or video recording equipment is not allowed unless authorized in advance and in writing by the Press Department.

Large bags, rucksacks, luggage, and personal effects will be subject to review at the access control.

Accessibility

The experience is wheelchair accessible except for the towers.

Your guide dogs are welcome at the venue.

Additional information

You can only enter the basilica at your booked time or up to 15 minutes afterward; the basilica does not accommodate late arrivals. Be sure to get there early, just to be safe.

Fast-track entry skips the ticket line, not security. All visitors must pass a mandatory security check, so brief waits may still occur—especially during peak hours. For a smoother experience, aim for early mornings or weekday visits.

Guests who choose the hosted entry must enter with their designated host. Check your ticket carefully for the exact meeting point, and be sure to arrive on time. Your host will escort you through the entry process and share a 30-minute introductory brief before you explore on your own. Unlike a guide, they won’t accompany you inside the basilica.

Your voucher will be emailed to you shortly.

Display the voucher on your mobile phone with a valid photo ID at the starting point.

Please check your final voucher for the starting point details & specific instructions.
