Easy entry and a very smooth experience overall. We especially appreciated being able to download the audio guide before entering the palace grounds, which made everything seamless even without arranging it in advance. The guide itself was interesting and easy to follow. One suggestion would be to include more background on the history and significance of the Royal Palace as a whole, rather than focusing mostly on each individual room. We also noticed that the Throne Room was closed to visitors during our visit, but the audio guide did not mention this, which was a bit confusing. Overall, though, it was an enjoyable and worthwhile experience.

Una experiencia increíble. El Palacio Real es impresionante y la visita guiada a la Cocina Real fue de mis partes favoritas porque te permite conocer un lado poco conocido de la historia. El guía hizo el recorrido muy ameno y aprendimos muchísimos datos interesantes. Como recomendación, lleguen con tiempo: la hora que aparece en la app corresponde al inicio de la visita guiada a la Cocina Real, no al acceso al Palacio. Es importante entrar unos minutos antes para que, a la hora indicada, ya estén dentro y listos para comenzar el recorrido. ¡Totalmente recomendable si visitas Madrid!

We booked the self-guided Santiago Bernabéu tour through Headout, and everything went perfectly from start to finish. The experience was amazing. We explored the museum, admired the incredible trophy collection, visited the players’ dressing room, and enjoyed breathtaking views from the iconic stadium stands while taking countless photos. One of the best moments was receiving a printed photo of my wife and me with the Champions League trophy—a perfect souvenir from an unforgettable visit. Highly recommended for every football fan visiting Madrid!

Highly recommended! The experience was excellent from start to finish. The building is absolutely stunning, and our guide, Federico, made the tour even more enjoyable with his knowledge, enthusiasm, and engaging explanations. Another big advantage was that we didn’t have to wait at all, even though there were huge crowds. It was definitely one of the highlights of our visit to Madrid!

Free entry is available for children under 5, ICOM/ICOMOS members, official tour guides, teachers, unemployed individuals (with proof), and people with disabilities (33%+), along with one essential companion if stated on their certificate.

Please plan approximately 45 minutes to visit the Salons and 30 minutes for the Royal Armory.

Free admission is available Monday to Thursday, from 4pm to 6pm in winter and from 5pm to 7pm in summer, for EU citizens, residents, holders of EU work permits, and citizens of Ibero-American countries (proof required).

Enter at the Almudena esplanade gate, on the corner of Calle de Bailén.

Children aged 0–6 enter for free but require a booked ticket.
