Wander in the Palace's big backyard

Begin your visit by exploring the Royal Apartments and the Park. Take your time to wander through the Palatine Chapel and the New Apartments, featuring antechambers and the Throne Room. Additional info

The Royal Palace of Caserta is closed on Tuesdays, New Year’s Day (January 1), and Christmas Day (December 25).

Keep in mind that the time printed on your ticket refers to your entry to the palace—not the train departure.

Trains from Naples to Caserta begin running at 4 AM and are available every 40–45 minutes. The boarding platform will only be announced once you're at the station.

Caserta is just a 5–10 minute walk from the rail station, so be sure to factor this into your travel plans.
