Immerse yourself in nature with a visit to two popular attractions in North Queensland. Plan your own itinerary and make use of the flexibility of staying for as long as you like at each location. As one of the oldest rainforests in the world, Mamu Tropical Skywalk is home to swinging cantilever beams, an environmentally-friendly sky trail, and even a 37-meter-high observation deck that offers lovely views of the verdant greenery. Discover the history of the local aboriginal people with the help of the audio guide and learn about the subtle balance that exists in the relationship between rainforest and humans.
Just a few minutes away from Mamu Tropical Skywalk is Paronila Park, built by the Spanish visionary, Jose Paronella. Enjoy a 45-minute day tour here that will take you through the park, and find out the story behind Jose Paronella. Stroll through the botanical garden and explore its surprises and feel the romance of the castle on a night tour.
