Reserved timed entry tickets are the way to go! Trying to gain entrance any other way just doesn't work. We booked Paris Catacombs tickets through Headout for our trip from the United States. No hassle. Show up a little early, the staff check your digital tickets and your in! Audio guide with the ticket really helps explain what you are seeing. 100% I would book this or any other experience with Headout!

The visit to the Catacombs was well worth booking. The audio guide was very clear and informative and we left them feeling overwhelmed at what we saw and pondering what life was like in the 18th and early 19th centuries. Highly recommend a visit.

Der Besuch war wirklich interessant, konnten pünktlich auf das Gelände. Der Audioguide war richtig gut, auch in Deutsch erhältlich. Fraglich ob man das Ticket nicht für weniger als die Hälfte auch über den offiziellen Kanal bekommen hätte.

It was smaller group of 12 people. We had a quirky but knowlegeable tour guide. Catered to English speakers. one of the best tours I've done in Paris. A bit pricey. High demand for tickets.

Rundum super! Die Wegbeschreibung zu den Katakomben war gut verständlich. Der Eintritt mit dem Onlineticket lief reibungslos ab. Die Katakomben selbst sind ein Erlebnis, welches man in Paris nicht verpassen sollte. Da die Katakomben schnell ausgebucht waren, lohnt sich eine Buchung 2 Wochen im Voraus. Ein Eintritt für "Laufkundschaft" war nämlich an dem Tag nicht mehr möglich. Der Audioguide ist auch auf deutsch erhältlich und erzählt die Geschichte der Katakomben spannend aber nicht zu lang. Anhören lohnt sich! Zuletzt natürlich ein Muss für alle 'Queens of the Stone Age" Fans 🤟😊

What to bring

Comfortable shoes and warm clothing are recommended, as the Catacombs maintain a temperature of around 14°C (57°F) and the tunnels can be slippery.

Bring a valid photo ID matching the name on your booking if requested at the entrance.

What’s not allowed

Children under 14 must be accompanied by an adult.

Suitcases, large bags, strollers, and motorcycle helmets are not allowed.

Smoking, drinking, and eating inside is strictly prohibited.

Strollers are not allowed at the venue; use a baby carrier.

Photography is allowed without the use of tripods or bulky equipment.

Pets are not allowed except for service animals.

Accessibility

The Catacombs are not accessible to wheelchair users or those with limited mobility due to numerous stairs (130 steps to enter, 112 steps to exit) and uneven surfaces.

The experience is not recommended for visitors with heart or respiratory conditions, or for those who may be uncomfortable in confined spaces.

Children under 14 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at all times.
