The last time i went to the train show with our grandson. I believe he was three. We went this year and the smile on his face now a 18 year old was beautiful. The show was amazing Throughly enjoyed each display.

The fact that it was snowing outside made it all the more special and I loved the outside experience before we got to the tent. The only thing I missed is I wanted to purchase a train book from the gift shop and they weren't Danny.

Beautiful exhibits set in the conservatory with tropical trees. The old home models on the Hudson are detailed and exquisite as are the buildings and bridges of New York city. The trains themselves however, are disappointing.

Arrive at the Visitor Center with your timed-entry ticket and breeze through the check-in process before starting your self-guided journey. If you're joining the narrated tram tour, simply board at one of the designated stops around the garden.

What's not allowed

Keep in mind, drones are not allowed in this experience.

Due to venue restrictions, pets cannot tag along for this experience.

While strollers are allowed throughout the grounds, they are not permitted into exhibition areas like the Haupt Conservatory and Mertz Library Art Galleries. You can find stroller parking at these locations.

This experience is wheelchair and pram/stroller accessible except for a few areas where the terrain is naturally uneven.
