Rahsaan Parker was hard to guide possess enormous depth of knowledge about cemetery. The people that are buried there they are working towards the church the African community eastern Africa celebrities they want to be buried there. It was an entire book in one tour.

Our tour guide, Will, was a wealth of information. He obviously enjoys what he does. Learning about the burial rituals of these tombs was so interesting. I think I'd like to tour all of New Orleans with Will. I was sad that I waited until the last day of our trip to do this tour because I would love to visit some of the places Will mentioned. I learned so many things on this tour. Easily one of my favorite experiences this trip.

This was a fun, entertaining, and informative tour. Our tour guide, Mary is a wealth of information. Being a native multigenerational New Orleanian she spoke with a wonderful sense of authority and I found all her stories and recounting the history of the Crescent City and the cemetery inviting and inspiring. I recommend this tour as a must. And I recommend Mary any day!

Meet your guide at the Basin St. Station Visitor Center. Collect your tour sticker and explore the city exhibits and the interactive map of the Hurricane Katrina floodwaters. Arrive at least 15 minutes before your scheduled departure time so you can grab a coffee and use the restrooms before the tour begins.
