The stage and atmosphere was brilliant. It was such a down to earth story with first class acting and singing . As a singer myself it was so good to hear obviously trained voices and no yelling. The story was compelling and Sting's performance was first class there were so many exciting moments I was enthralled by the whole show.

Who would have thought a story about shipbuilding could be so powerfully emotional and totally engaging. A great narrative , sensational music and a wonderfully captivating performance by the entire cast. It's different, but that's what makes it so special. My advice is see it before it's too late. You certainly won't be sorry did.

The Glasshouse is a stunning venue for Sting's musical The Last Ship. The songs are beautiful, and it's a strong performance by the whole cast. Sting plays his part brilliantly, as a leader in his final act of rallying the shipbuilding community. It's a gorgeous mix of English folk, rock and poignent songs of life and struggle.

We loved the entire performance. Wasn't like the normsl musical but had Brecht and Kurt Weil aspects with all the new technology. Amazing acting with Sting 's handwriting all over the show. Also loved the new theatre Glasshouse
