As someone who has seen the real MJ back in the History tour I can seriously say that this is as close to the real deal the world will see. I was blown away by how good this performance is and so glad I took the opportunity to take my two sons to see it. They had a blast too and have not stopped talking about it for days now. I could not fault the performance of any cast member but a shout out to young Michael who gave me goosebumps during the early years and 'middle' Michael who was the star of the show for me and will surely make it to Broadway with that skill. The storyline is perfectly woven into the dance numbers and seamless transitions between the two that gave you the best of the drama and pure performance. A pure treat is probably the best summation of the night.

MJ the musical is definitely best musical I've ever seen. I'm from Japan, so I worried whether I could enjoy this English musical. But, I didn't need such anxiety. When I watched their first performance, their passion made me cry. Dance, song, light, props, direction... Everything was amazing, and I can enjoy all the time. Their English was so clear, so I could understand easily. Soon after the show I took one more ticket on my way. Everyone should watch this fascinating musical! I appreciate this musical for giving me fantastic experience.

I feel very blessed to share this magnificent show with my 15y grandson who like his father and grandparents have all shared MJ life and his music. We travel from Mackay to see the show. The QPAC was mind blowing, what a magical atmosphere. As for show, the work that went into it I can't imagine how many hours of hard work. Stage effects, lighting we were mesmerized. Our overall experince is one I know my grandson will never forget. Thank you 🌺

The moment the performance started, tears burst out, and I couldn't stop the tears until the end. I didn't know if those tears were a welcome or a regret for his absence, but it was an endless emotion. I was so lucky to travel here in Brisbane and meet MJ the musical. Thank you so much. It was the best musical.

I only managed to get a seat at the very top of the theatre and I forgot to bring my glasses so differentiating between singers was impossible. That aside, the show was awesome. The music was fantastic, the dancing was amazing. I was spellbound from start to finish.

What a great production, great vocals, acting, dancing and stage sets!! However, it did leave me wanting a bit more, the pyrotechnics, volume and use of the house band could have been turned up a couple of notches, but I thoroughly enjoyed the matinee performance.
