Die Insel Mainau ist für mich eine ganz *besondere* Insel mit viel Flair und unbedingt auch romantisch. Also für jeden ist etwas dabei, für die Familien mit Kindern auch Dinos, Bauernhof und großen Spielplatz. Ich habe mir das Ticket selbst geschenkt, online gebucht- kann man 3 Euro sparen- und am 7. September mein Geburtstag eingelöst. Und hab mir einen zauberhaften Tag daraus gemacht. Wichtig war mir das Schmetterlingshaus mit diesen vielen exotischen Schmetterlingen. Und einfach liebevoll begrüßt von dieser lachenden Blume zum Eingang. Und ansonsten habe ich mich einfach treiben lassen und diese schönen Blumenbeete und einzigartigen Bäume zu bestaunen. Großen Dank an alle die Gärtner und fleißigen Helfer die so wunderschöne Kunstwerke zaubern und pflegen. Ich bin mit dem Bus zur Insel Mainau gefahren, alles ganz easy

es gibt vier Highlights: 1. die Insel itself is absoluter Hammer. Die Anordnung der Wege, der Wechsel von altem Baumbestand und den Blumenwegen, die kulinarischen Orte 2. ich habe ein Buch über die Schmetterlinge fertigstellen können, dank dem Schmetterlingshaus 3. ich habe ein Buch mit Blumenfotos begonnen, mit einem substantiellen Beitrag seitens der Meinau 4. wir haben gegessen, getrunken und die schöne Lage des Hafens genossen. Zusätzlich noch Zwischenstops bei den andern Kulinariktempeln

Viele blühende und auch exotische Pflanzen. Sehr beeindruckend sind die zahlreichen Mammutbäune. Das Schmetterlingshaus ist es Wert dafür anzustehen und zu warten. Ein ech schönes Erlebnis.

Sehr gepflegte Anlage. Gut durchdacht und für alle Altersgruppen machbar. Das Schmetterlingshaus und die Dahlien waren besonders beeindruckend, genau wie die hohen Mammut Bäume.

The booking was simple and although I didn't have the headout App, it was easy to get in with the confirmation number. The Island offers Highlights for children and adults,the maize labrynth, the dinosaur sculptures were impressive. There is so much to learn about eco system on the island eg in butterfly house. The treasure quiz was interesting for the children and it made it easy to convince them to go around and visit several places. I will definitely be visiting this beautiful Island again

Erg mooi opgezet bloemen eiland. Veel verschillende soorten planten, bloemen en indrukwekkend oude bomen waar je al wandelend langs komt. Ook het kasteel en de vlinder kas zijn bijzonder om te bezoeken. Kortom, als je in de buurt zit, zeker een bezoek aan brengen.

The island is really beautiful. We especially liked the Butterfly House and the arboretum with its enormous sequoias. The area with the giant dinosaur statues was also very nice. Our little daughter was delighted by the petting zoo. The only slightly disappointing part was the Kinderland with its small water canal, as the wooden rafts were never available.
