I recently visited Lusail Winter Wonderland, and overall it was a fun and exciting experience. From the moment I arrived, the atmosphere felt lively and festive, especially with the bright lights, music, and decorations. The park is very large and offers a wide variety of rides, so there is something for everyone. I really enjoyed the thrilling rides, especially the bigger attractions, which were exciting and well-organized. The Ferris wheel was one of my favorite experiences because it gave an amazing view of the park and Lusail city, particularly at night. There are also many rides and games for children, making it a great place for families. There were plenty of food stalls and snack options around the park, which made it easy to take breaks between rides. However, some rides had long waiting times, especially during busy hours, and the prices for games and food felt a bit high. Overall, my visit to Wonderland Qatar was memorable and enjoyable. It’s a great place to spend time with friends or family, and I would definitely recommend visiting, especially in the evening when the park looks its best

Arrive at Al Maha Island and head to the main entrance, where your QR-coded wristband will be scanned for entry. After a quick security check, you’re free to explore the park and join the ongoing festivities at your own pace.

What to expect

Located in Qatar’s Al Maha Island, Lusail Winter Wonderland is a seasonal theme park featuring over 50 rides and attractions. The park is designed to offer a family-friendly experience with a mix of entertainment, themed zones, and interactive activities.

Themed areas: Explore distinct zones across Al Maha Island, from snow-covered walkways and carnival rides to the Winter Market filled with food stalls and gifts.

Live roaming entertainment: Catch costumed performers, musicians, and dancers as they move through the park, bringing every corner to life with music and lights.

Family-friendly: With open-air spaces, gentle rides, and lively entertainment, it’s the perfect setting for families and friends to relax, explore, and make winter memories together.

Dining & treats: Savor everything from shawarma and karak tea to waffles and hot chocolate, with food stalls and pop-ups throughout the park.

What to bring

Bring a valid photo ID matching your booking. You must present it if requested on entry.

Collect and wear your QR-coded wristband (the main entry method and payment device) at all times inside the event.

Dress modestly according to the conservative culture of Qatar; comfortable shoes and weather-appropriate clothes are recommended.

Park credits can be topped up on your wristband for rides, food, and attractions; cash is not accepted.

What’s not allowed

Outside food and drinks are not permitted beyond the gates.

Alcohol, recreational drugs, and smoking are strictly prohibited.

Large bags, suitcases, and any oversized luggage are not allowed in the park. No locker or storage facilities for such items.

Pets are not allowed except for registered service dogs.

Segways, scooters, bicycles, hoverboards, skateboards, and roller skates are not permitted inside the park.

Entry wristbands and QR access codes cannot be transferred, exchanged, altered, or resold.

Additional rides and attractions outside your ticket's access are not permitted unless you pay for upgrades separately.

Smoking is strictly not allowed anywhere in the park.

Accessibility

The park is designed for easy accessibility, and there are toilet facilities for those with limited mobility.

Visitors with disabilities get free entry with a government-issued card. Please ask staff for details about accessible rides and facilities.

Prayer rooms and baby changing facilities are available across the site.

Additional information

Food and beverages are available for purchase; the Boulevard restaurant offers a range of options.

No alcohol is served anywhere in the park.

Entry wristbands do not include food and beverages; top-up credits are required for purchases.

All ages are welcome; specific rides may have age, height, or medical restrictions.

Live roaming entertainment is included; schedules may vary daily.

No changing or showering facilities or lockers available.

Parking is free but limited on Al Maha Island.

For lost wristbands, a replacement fee is charged, and the original QR code is required.
