The show was a spectacular parody of the film Titanic, filled with surprising and enjoyable spoofs on the characters and storyline. It was hysterically crass with fabulously overt LGBTQ references that continued to mock the film. We haven't laughed that hard in a very long time!

We had an absolutely fabulous time at Titanic. It was great for us. Canadians. We felt a lot of national pride and Céline Dion while chuckling laughing and having a fantastic time, the comedy was great. The singing was great. The performers were great a real class. I highly recommend. Just prior to the intermission we even had a cameo from William Hansen. What a riot. Everyone was laughing, hilariously a great addition to the show temporarily.

Titanique might be the most fun I’ve had at the theatre in years. Okay, so I went in not really knowing what to expect, and I came out with a sore stomach from laughing. Let me try to do it justice. It’s a piss-take of a massive blockbuster, basically, performed by a cast who can absolutely sing...which is the thing that makes it work. It’s not just silly for the sake of silly. These people have proper voices, and they’re using them to do completely ridiculous things, and the gap between “wow they’re genuinely incredible” and “what am I even watching” is where most of the laughs live. The pacing is mad. And there are all these little references to real-life stuff dropped in that had the whole room howling!!! I won’t say what, because half the fun is clocking them yourself :))) I’m not going to spoil anything. There were bits I was still thinking about on the tube home. You’ll see. Look, if you like musicals, or you just want a night where your face hurts from grinning, go.

The story

Titanique was one of the best plays we have seen. The music was excellent and combined with cutting edge humor and parody of Titanic made it a triple treat! In addition the theatre itself was comfortable and more intimate than we are used to in the US with great leg room.

Highly entertaining performance! Amazing vocals from the entire cast and the special guest of William Hanson was amazing! The humour was quite crude at times, and the over the top "flamboyant" behaviour wasn't necessary. But, I had a good laugh overall!
