It started late a few minutes but entry was fast. The lighting was phenomenal . Going around the memorials was very good. At the very end we expected Napoleon Bonoparte to rise on his white horse in magnificent glory.

Eine etwas andere Art, Geschichte zu erleben. Tolle Lightshow in historischem Ambiente. Anfangs dachten wir, dass der Invalidendom völlig überfüllt wird, aber die Besucher verteilen sich gut und man findet immer ein Plätzchen zum sitzen und staunen. Die Musik passt wunderbar und ist von der Lautstärke her völlig okay. Hat sich gelohnt!

Die Show selbst war sehr gut gemacht. Jedoch musste man nicht wie beschrieben eine halbe Stunde vorher dort sein. Es begann mit 20 Minuten Verspätung.

Begin your visit at the main entrance of the Hôtel National des Invalides, where your ticket grants fast-track entry. Pass through security and validate your ticket before exploring the museum and Dome Church at your own pace. For the Aura show, enter via Place Vauban and follow on-site instructions; the spectacle begins 20 minutes after your session time.

This renowned Parisian complex houses one of the world’s largest military history collections and the iconic gilded Dome Church, home to Napoleon Bonaparte’s tomb. Spanning centuries, the museum’s exhibits trace France’s military legacy from the Middle Ages to today.

What to bring

Bring a valid photo ID to match the name on your booking if requested at the entrance.

Keep your ticket with you until the end of your visit, as you may be asked to show it to access different areas.

Wear warm clothing, as the environment inside the Dôme can be cold.

What’s not allowed

Large bags, suitcases, and oversized luggage are not allowed inside the venue for security reasons.

Baby strollers are not permitted.

Food, drinks, and smoking are strictly prohibited on the premises.

Accessibility

Visitors with motor disabilities can enter on the Place Vauban side.

People with mobility impairments can borrow a wheelchair (subject to availability) at the ticket desk on the Esplanade des Invalides and Place Vauban sides. Proof of identity is required to be left at the reception desk during your visit.

Toilets are available in the museum areas and are accessible to people with reduced mobility.

Additional information

The experience is not recommended for children under 5 years old due to sensory elements.

Museum admission is free for visitors under 18 and for EU citizens under 26, but a ticket is still required and must be collected on site.
