Well, the book store - alone, wakting or paying that much is not worth it. But I really liked, that its a bundle with guide, cable cars and boat trip. This enhances experience.

En pocas horas ves lo esencial de Oporto: Torre de los Clérigos, la estación de São Bento (impresionante), la Catedral, el puente de Luis I… incluso la Librería Lello, que aunque estaba cerrada, el guía la hizo igual de interesante desde fuera. El broche final es brutal: teleférico en Gaia + crucero de los 6 puentes por el Duero. Ver la ciudad desde el agua es otro nivel. Muy bien organizado, ameno y con un guía que realmente transmite. Si quieres entender Oporto de verdad, este tour merece muchísimo la pena.

Il tour e' stato ben organizzato e la nostra guida era un ottimo professionista, capace di intrattenere il gruppo con informazioni ben dettagliate. Purtroppo dobbiamo segnalare una grande delusione in merito alla visita della libreria Lello, perché nonostante fosse chiusa per lavori di restauro programmati, abbiamo appreso la notizia solo durante il tour.

Porto’s historic center can get busy, so arriving 10 minutes early helps keep the group together and ensures a smooth start. Your guide will verify your booking, explain the route, and get everyone ready for the walk.

What to Expect

Guided walking tour: Begin by exploring Porto’s old town with an expert guide who brings the city’s stories, neighborhoods, and hidden corners to life. You’ll pass landmarks like São Bento Station and Porto Cathedral while learning how the city’s culture and architecture evolved over time.

Livraria Lello: Your visit continues inside Livraria Lello, one of the most admired bookstores in the world. Your guide manages the entry process, and once inside, you’re free to take in the carved woodwork, stained glass, and the signature red staircase at your own pace. Crowds are common here, and your guide will help navigate the flow.

Cable car ride: After the bookstore, you’ll cross to Vila Nova de Gaia for a scenic ride on the Gaia Cable Car. The short journey gives you sweeping views of the rooftops, the river, and the Ribeira district spread out below.

Douro River cruise: Your experience ends on the water. Board a traditional boat for a relaxing cruise that passes under Porto’s six famous bridges. From the river, you’ll see the wine cellars of Gaia, colorful riverfront houses, and some of the best angles of the Dom Luís I Bridge.

Wrapping Up
