Join the boat tour through the polders and along the line of 19 windmills for wide views of the countryside and the windmill-lined waterways.
-
Visit the Wisboom pumping station to enter the 19th-century engine room and learn how steam and later electricity transformed regional water management.
-
Head into De Fabriek for access to the film and exhibition that explain Kinderdijk’s history and the engineering behind its water management system.
-
Use the audio guide in English, Dutch, French, Spanish, Italian, Chinese, and German on the Kinderdijk online guide to add context at each stop.
Euromast Lookout
Euromast is one of the tallest watchtowers in the Netherlands and a national monument that overlooks Rotterdam and its busy waterways.
