Take a thrilling voyage through history at the Intrepid Sea, Air and Space Museum! Kick off your adventure with a walk-through of the 1950s-era submarine, the USS Growler. Emerging from the Growler, the Intrepid flight deck awaits! Here, history comes alive with a collection of restored aircraft. Little ones will be awestruck by the size and sleek design of fighter jets, while older kids can learn about the different eras of aviation through interactive displays. The pièce de résistance? Marveling at the awe-inspiring Space Shuttle Enterprise, a true testament to human ingenuity.
A New York adventure
Start your ascent to new heights at Edge NYC by entering on the 4th floor. A quick multimedia experience will prime you for the city views. Then, in under a minute, a high-speed elevator will whisk you 1,100 feet up to the 100th floor. From the open-air deck, Central Park and the Statue of Liberty come into sharp focus. Don't miss the chance to test your nerves on the glass floor, offering a glimpse straight down to the streets below. If you prefer a more relaxed experience, head inside to the 101st floor for views from floor-to-ceiling windows. Whether you're an adrenaline seeker or a casual observer, Edge lets everyone experience the electric energy of New York City.
