Was mir an dieser Tour besonders gefallen hat, war, dass man in relativ kurzer Zeit einen guten Eindruck von der ganzen Stadt bekommt. Man sieht von allem ein bisschen – verschiedene Stadtviertel, Sehenswürdigkeiten und interessante Orte – und kann anschließend entscheiden, was man gerne noch genauer erkunden möchte. Für mich war es eine tolle Möglichkeit, Glasgow kennenzulernen und einen ersten Überblick über die Stadt zu gewinnen. 😊🚌

The drivers and guides were always so helpful with directions of how to get to where we wanted to go once we hoped off! And the guides really knew their stuff and were quite entertaining in the delivery of their info! Highly recommend!

While this is my first time in Glasgow, i had been hearing about it for 40 years from my wife and in-laws. The hop-on-hop-off tour with Jim as our guide brought everything to life. Not only did the tour take us to all of the highlights at which Jim gave us history, insight and some humourous stories, but all along the way between stops he answered questions, gave us more history and information, pointed out other points of interest but also added personal stories that really made the tour special. What a fantastic time and what a fantastic way to see the city!!

Craig and Stevie without doubt made our trip!! I have used the Hop on Hop off buses in many cities but the Glasgow tours were the best! Craig is hilarious and we enjoyed every second. He had the whole bus laughing and joining in with him. The recorded information was also very good. We used the buses a lot on both days and they are without doubt great value for money.

Jim was a fantastic guide, with an excellent commentary, and some great 'dad' jokes. The driver did a great job, but I don't remember his name. Something foreign beginning with 'A'.

The transport museum, the running commentary on the bus system was great, the one bus we took had a tour guide on board, was better as little unknown facts was far better than the auto system

Red route

From the Barras market to the hip West End's Kelvingrove, the Red route shows you a mix of history, culture, and local flair.

Schedule

First bus: 9:30am from Temporary stop 1 located on George Street across from the City Chambers.

Last bus: 4:30pm from Temporary stop 1 located on George Street across from the City Chambers.

Frequency: Every 30 minutes

Yellow route

Hop on the Yellow Route for a captivating journey through Glasgow’s dynamic attractions. Start at North Hanover Street, where the city’s energetic pulse is felt. Discover Tennent's Brewery’s historic brewing legacy, then dive into Merchant City’s eclectic mix of shops and cafes. Marvel at Celtic Park, a football shrine, and unwind in the serene Pollok Park, home to the impressive Burrell Collection and lush gardens.

First bus: 9:45am from Temporary stop 1 located on George Street across from the City Chambers.

Last bus: 4:15pm from Temporary stop 1 located on George Street across from the City Chambers.

The tour does not operate on December 25 & 26, and January 1 & 2.

The Red tour is available all-year round, whereas the Yellow tour is only available during the high season.

Stop 1 is temporarily located on George Street across from the City Chambers.

Stop 3 for Tennent's Brewery is currently unavailable due to roadworks.
