Ich fand es spannend, dass es einerseits in gewissen Bussen digitale Reiseführung gab und in Anden war ein Guide, der viel zu der Stadt zu erzählen wusste. Sehr praktisch, dass man überall ein und aussteigen kann und die Bustouren doch relativ lang fahren. Für das kalte Wetter konnten sie nicht dafür.😉

What a wonderful way to see the highlights of Glasgow. Our first guide was very informative and friendly , however, when we had the guide Pauline join the bus, the whole vibe changed. We are visiting from overseas and have been on many tourist buses, but had not come across a "guide" that was all about her and her own voice. Her constant reprimand for talking or taking a phone call was very off putting and changed our favourable experience. It was no way to speak to grown people as if they were in a school playground. Unfortunately this spoiled what had started as a great experience.

It was a very easy going and sightseeing way to figure out Glasgow hotspots! Nice time and great way to go! The Cathedral and graveyard where awesome spots! The market as well as the nice foodtrucks!!

The bus was not crowded so i could choose where to sit - downstairs, upstairs under the roof, or outside. I took the ride twice - once in the evening and once in the morning, so i could see the city in different light - that was the advantage of the two day ticket.

The first bus I mounted at Kelvingrove seemed not to be a fully normal one, with no audio guide available. After we were asked to changed buses and after a short delay the tour was fine with the guide doing a broadcast to us, but there was no process of control of an individual audio guide. A video like was left on, constantly showing the same 'next stop'-somewhat confusing

Red route

Hop on the Red Route for a whirlwind tour through Glasgow’s iconic sights, from its Victorian heart to the vibrant West End. Start at George Square’s grandeur, pass the Gothic beauty of Glasgow Cathedral, and cruise through the quirky Merchant City. From the Barras market to the hip West End's Kelvingrove, the Red route shows you a mix of history, culture, and local flair.

Schedule

First bus: 9:30am from stop #1 (George Square)

Last bus: 4:30pm from stop #1 (George Square)

Frequency: Every 30 minutes

Popular stops: Riverside Museum, George Square, Glasgow Green

Yellow route

Hop on the Yellow Route for a captivating journey through Glasgow’s dynamic attractions. Start at North Hanover Street, where the city’s energetic pulse is felt. Discover Tennent's Brewery’s historic brewing legacy, then dive into Merchant City’s eclectic mix of shops and cafes. Marvel at Celtic Park, a football shrine, and unwind in the serene Pollok Park, home to the impressive Burrell Collection and lush gardens.

First bus: 9:45am from stop #1 (George Square)

Last bus: 4:15pm from stop #1 (George Square)

Frequency: Every 30 minutes

Popular stops: The Barras, Science Centre, Glasgow Cathedral

The tour does not operate on December 25 & 26, and January 1 & 2.

The Red tour is available all-year round, whereas the Yellow tour is only available during the high season.
