We've done a couple of the Hop On Hop Off tours recently in different cities and found them to be a comfortable and convenient way to touch on the highlights of a location. From there we can back track later to spend more time at the sites that interest us the most. I recommed these tours to anyone visiting a city for the first time.

Great way to get your bearings around the city. Went back around a second time and got off at the flora / botanical gardens. Had such a lovely snack and apple cake at the cafe there. The driver was very friendly but sometimes a bit heavy on the accelerator and then consequently the brakes too! The seats are pretty hard - gets a bit uncomfortable after a while! On the whole would recommend.
