The experience was wonderful\. Everything was very clean, the staff were extremely friendly, and the entire zoo was beautifully maintained and very well organized\.

This place was very beautiful but it did make me rather sad to see that most enclosure's did not have fresh water for the animals to play in. Most of it was green and looked rather stagnant. They just looked kinda sad but the zoo itself was very nice. Everyone was very nice to help my wife and I around.

    • Explore Cologne Zoo, one of the oldest zoos in Germany, for a fun-filled day with over 10,000 animals across 850 species.

    • Journey through the Rainforest House and look for free-flying bats, colorful toucans, and elusive flying foxes.

    • Visit Clemenshof, a traditional farmyard replica, and see heritage breeds like curly-coated Mangalica pigs and English Longhorn cattle.

    • See a slice of Africa at the Hippodom. Listen for a hippo's thundering roar and the Sitatunga antelope's graceful movement.

    • Fun fact: Cologne Zoo’s conservation efforts in Vietnam helped discover over 100 never-before-seen vertebrate species.

    • Entry to Cologne Zoo and Aquarium
