We had read some poor reviews about Chicago hoho but our experience was quite pleasant. We got on and off four places and had a great time. Paid online ahead and showed that to the person outside the bus and got one combined bus pass to use all day. DO NOT LOSE the bus pass! You must show it everytime you get on. Got the free wired ear buds to use all day and keep. Just plug them in. Don't miss the last bus of the day or you will need to Uber or taxi back to your parking garage. Grandkids loved it. Sit in the open air top or lower air conditioning.

The buses came frequently enough so it was never a long wait. Some of the earphone jacks didn't work but we would just move to a different seat. In nice weather, that top deck is great. We went in late September and were glad to have jackets with us because the top deck does get a little windy and cold. Each stop also has a Big Bus employee to scan our online purchased tickets QR code and print out a physical ticket that you need each time you get on the bus. Highly recommend.

The bus route was ok, they had earphones, which you plug in to hear commentary, only problem was the bus driver was also doing his own commentry over the intercom so you had both audoo feeds competing with each other. Once we switched to a different bus it was better. It also could have been clearer where each bus stop was and maybe show real time updates on when the next bus is due.

Easy to get tickets online. It was handy to have tickets available if a Big Bus agent wasn't at a stop. Great way to see the city. Informative sound track and/or bus drivers.

The music selection was very lound at times, varied volume without touching the control. The lady outside the skydeck was very helpful and friendly.
