The Retiro Park, also known as Parque del Buen Retiro in Spanish belonged to the monarchy until it was made public in the late 19th century. Learn all about its rich history and explore its expansive, lush gardens with the help of an expert, English speaking guide with this experience! Marvel at a variety of sculptures and exquisite architecture from between the 17th and 21st centuries, such as the prominent Crystal Palace. Even though much of the park’s original layout was destroyed during the French invasion, there are still hints of the 17th and 18th century period across the park.
