Getting started
Your adventure begins at Mariners Cove Marina, Main Beach, where you’ll board the purpose-built 24m catamaran. After settling in, the crew will prepare you for a memorable journey along the Gold Coast Humpback Highway.
What to expect
- Step aboard & settle in: Enjoy a warm welcome and complimentary tea or coffee as you meet the crew and your marine biologist guide, who will introduce you to the day’s whale-watching experience.
- Watch the whales: Watch humpback whales as they migrate. See mothers with calves, breaches, and tail slaps while your guide shares interesting facts.
- Take a seat & relax: Relax on roomy upper and lower decks, enjoy refreshments sip refreshments, and take in expansive views of the whales in the wild.

- Bring your jacket, hats, sunscreen, sunglasses, seasickness medicines, and light snacks for this experience.
- It's recommended to wear fully covered footwear with suitable grip, such as sneakers or deck shoes.
