We chose the half day rather than full day tour which gave us time in the afternoon to do other things. It was perfect. 1.5 hours on a mini coach from Porto. Spectacular scenery. Our guide Ze and driver Silva were great ! Ze was very knowledgeable and informative. Tour and tasting at the Sao Luiz/Kopke winery was excellent. Boat trip on the Douro to Pinhao was a nice end to the trip. Group was a good size (approx 20). Great value for money. Highly recommended.

Ricardo was an awesome guide - great sense of humour and very knowledgeable. The drive was picturesque, the history wildly interesting. Loved the fact that the winery was a coop and still family run. Didn't think I'd like port but it was an unexpected pleasure. The boat ride was okay but nothing special. My highlight was the winery (and I've been to many around the world). I wouldnt hesitate to recommend both the tour compny and tour.

Nice well-organised tour including nice wines and a fine boattrip. Dense programme with a lot of highligths and information.

What to bring

Wear comfortable clothing and walking shoes for the pedestrian walk and winery visit.

Food and drinks are not included in the tour. There won't be free time to stop at local restaurants as well. Please carry bottled water and a packed lunch if you wish to eat during the tour.

Your pets are not permitted on this experience.
